With their due date passing uneventfully two weeks ago, my brother and sister-in-law were very eager for the arrival of their baby. They were scheduled to induce on Tax Day, but my niece had other plans.Brianna was born last Sunday afternoon and weighed in at 9.5 lbs. She and her mother are healthy, and my brother has recovered from the difficult job of birthing coach. You can see all the photos my brother took in his .Mac Web Gallery.
We weren't able to travel this week to see the newest member of our family. We've been busy here in San Antonio. But we are looking forward to traveling a week from now to celebrate my Dad's 60th birthday and Brianna's arrival at the same time. It should be a pretty exciting weekend!
