Now that our family tree is getting fleshed out on Geni, I am getting more and more confused about how all of these relationships work. Thank the Lord for the Internet. This chart is a pretty simple representation of what seems to be understood differently by as many people as try to explain it with words!

Upcoming Events at the Beyer Home
April and May will be exciting months for us this year. While Tax Day, Mother's Day, and Memorial Day are certainly worthy of celebration in their own right, other events are unfolding. For instance, we have been enjoying our Holy Week worship experiences at our church as another season of Lent draws to a close. And that means it is time for Easter and our family party! Family and friends will gather at our home this Sunday from 2pm to 5pm. Everyone is invited to join our celebration. Here is a part of Jean's original email invitation:
Happy Easter everyone!
The purpose of our gathering is not the meal or an Easter Egg Hunt. The purpose is the life and excitement and joy and relationships and fellowship and love that issue forth from the Risen Lord. To celebrate, we'd love you to join us for an Easter meal. We'll provide the food, so just bring yourselves. After dinner, we'll have an Easter Egg Hunt for the children. We are also very happy to be able to share with you that Michael will be baptized on May 6th at the 11am Mass at our church. We would love for anyone who is interested to join us for such a joyous occasion. For those friends who are committed to other church services that morning, we will be gathering at a local restaurant afterwards to celebrate.
Happy Easter everyone!

As revealed on my Twitter page, I have decided to move to Tibet and become a Buddhist monk. Cloistered life, here I come.
