It has been a month since my last post for a reason that I am sure is easy to understand. While Jean and I are certainly enjoying parenthood, we are also having a tough time doing anything else. In what I am sure is surprising to no one, Jean and I are figuring out exactly how much work it takes to manage a newborn.
Amount of work notwithstanding, Michael is incredible. Jean and I both are amazed at the beauty of his wide eyes, fuzzy hair, long fingers, and, believe or not, very loud cries. Yes, you read that correctly, we are both going insane. Ha! Just kidding. Everything about our son is wonderful.
This photo is from our first visit to the pediatrician's office. Last weekend I was able to go through some of the many photos I have taken. They are all posted on my Flickr site. I will continue to try to sort through and post more, so please continue to check.
